Bedrooms Nicara Lakeside Lodge has 3 rooms available for guests, all overlooking Lake Rotorua. These king double or twin bedrooms each has its own en suite. Each room is named after a local trout fly. These were tied and presented to Nicara Lodge by Hugh McDowell, the respected master of trout fishing of these waters. Hughie published a popular book on fly tying and he is also available for casting lessons from time to time.
